Today the Snow Monster didn't come!
However, a different monster came in its place.
I left the bedroom and checked out the rest of the house.
When I looked out the door, I saw that we were surrounded.
I went to the front door and listened.
There were strange sounds coming from
before and behind me!
I watched from under the dining table.
Eventually I tried to go back to bed.
After sundown, Mom and I did something we
haven't done in days!
We went to get the mail!
Even after melting some, the snow is taller than me.
The Monday people came over.
So now I have to wait.
I'll just sit on the back of the couch and
stare outside until I can once again be the
center of attention.
